Odds Chart
What exactly is an out?  Outs are the unseen cards that will complete or improve your hand to make it a better hand.  Outs are important because they help in determining the probability that you will hit a winning hand.  Outs also help you to understand the odds of a draw your opponent may be sitting on.
To calculate the number of outs count the number of possible cards that you could use to make your hand better. Take this number of outs and divide by the total number of cards left in the deck that you haven't seen (47 on the turn and 46 on the river). Odds are also important when discussing the pot odds.
