Tip 1...stay away from the ring games. I have been going around to several poker sites...all known for their loose players...and the loose gang mentality will kill you at ring game. They somehow make the odds work in their favor, and you will most likely lose. I have found this over and over again. So whats the answer? At loose sites...play 6 player. Yes the pots are smaller, but you will win more of them, and you will not get outdrawn nearly so much. In 12 hours...got my AA cracked only once...and I really slow played the heck out of them. Guy ended up hitting his flush. Warning...because the pots are smaller, the rake is also smaller, which means it does not work as well for bonus requirements....but neither does losing all your dough.
Tip 2...at interpoker intercasino...dont bother with the raked hands for bonus. I feel that right now especially, it is too risky to lose your own money. I still have no idea how many more raked hands I need....and i am still working under the June bonus.

There was a substantial change to the InterPoker bonus this month. It is still $90, but now only hands raked over $1 count, rather than a rake of $0.25. The number of raked hands has dropped back to 5 per bonus dollar, but this is still bad news for those who are used to playing $1-$2. It is rare for a pot to reach $20 in those relatively tight games.
I'd speculate that in the future, they will allow a rake of GBP 0.50 to count, and they may give partial credit for hands raked less than $1. However, these are not implemented yet. If you don't regularly play above 1-2, you may want to clear the July bonus in the casino.
